Germany was fun, but it was a grueling travel day—we had to get to Amsterdam that evening—so there was a lot of trains, and a fair amount of waiting for trains.

We did get off in Düsseldorf, because it reminded Cindy of the song, and because it was lunchtime. Didn't get many pictures walking around town, we were mostly trying to find our way and not only do we not speak German, but no one we ran into spoke English. The signs were only marginally more helpful, but the ones in the train station made a fun noise when flipping over.

Having been to Germany, the stereotype is true; all of our trains were on-time. High speed trains are incredibly efficient for medium-distance travel.
